From A1 Northbound
From the Wetherby A1 exit, proceed straight on at the roundabout by the Wetherby Jarvis Hotel and pass the Police Station on the right. Cross the river bridge over the River Wharfe and turn left at the mini roundabout. After passing Wetherby Town Hall and Market Place on the right, take the next turning on the right into Bank Street (one way). Take the first turn to the left into Church Street where you will find St. James Church at the end. The Church car park can be found on the left hand side opposite the Church Centre (further space is available behind the Church Centre). From A1 Southbound From Wetherby exit turn right before proceeding straight on at the mini roundabout onto Walton Road. Turn left immediately after Wetherby Fire Station, proceed round a sharp right hand bend and then straight on at the crossroads at the end into Cross Street. Turn right at the end, pass the Town Hall on the right and proceed as per instructions above. From Harrogate (8.9miles) Take the A661 Harrogate-Wetherby road, through Spofforth (5.6miles) and into built up area of Wetherby. Proceed down Spofforth Hill and straight on, onto Westgate. Pass Wetherby Council Offices and St. Joseph's Catholic Church on the left hand side before turning left into Bank Street and left into Church Street. From Leeds A58 Take the A58 Leeds-Wetherby Road. After passing through Bardsey (8.6miles) and Collingham (10.9miles), pass the Wetherby Jarvis Hotel on the left and turn left at the roundabout, pass the Police Station and proceed as per instructions from A1 Northbound. A61 Via Harewood Take the A61 Leeds-Harrogate Road to Harewood. Turn right at Harewood House (8.6miles) onto the A659, signed Wetherby and continue to Collingham (12.8miles). Upon reaching the "Half Moon" & "Old Star" Public Houses, turn left at the T-Junction onto the A58 and proceed to Wetherby as above. *All mileages above are cumulative* |
