| MENZONE |
| The object of the MenZone meetings is to provide a setting where churchgoing men meet informally to talk, relax, get to know one another and
generally be comfortable in enjoying each others company. That setting is often a meal in a pub-restaurant (good deals on Mondays!) but we have
also enjoyed informal tournaments of croquet in summer and dominoes in winter. |
| We meet generally on the third Monday of each month, except in December and August. Meetings are usually in the evening, however, occasionally
visits have to take place during daytime opening hours. We have recently enjoyed an interesting and fascinating visit to Drax Power Station. Future
plans include a visit to the Cold War Bunker at York and to Leventhorpe Vineyard at Woodlesford. |
| We do not have a formal membership, no subscriptions and no committee. The programme is developed by suggestions from members, organised by whoever
feels able. We welcome new faces to enjoy our style of meeting and as a way of getting to know other men in the church. |

 |
| A special, simple service for pre-school children and their carers, supported by members of the Mother's Union
and held every Thursday (1.30pm - 2.30pm), during school term time and fortnightly during the long summer holidays. |
| The purpose of the session is to introduce babies and toddlers to the Church building and explore the basics of the
Christian faith. |
| The sessions have a regular format/theme and start with a simple creative activity at the rear of the Church. Then in
the Prayer corner we take a collection, listen to a simple story, a short prayer and finish with plenty of singing and
percussion. |
| We conclude informally with refreshments. |
| Please feel free to just come along anytime but if you would like any further information please contact Nicky on
